Position Overview

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently (following credentialing standards)
• Empowering patients and families with knowledge about prevention, wellness, and chronic illness management
• Prescribing medications and therapies according to practice standards
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, cohesive care
• Ensuring meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
