Key Responsibilities:

·         Customer Service & Consultation: Serving as the main point of contact, taking orders, providing quotes, offering advice on paper stocks, finishes, and managing client expectations. Support current and prospective customers in the successful planning and execution of printing and graphics projects.

·         Production Operations: Running digital printers, copiers, and print-on-demand equipment.  Performing routine printer upkeep. Ordering of paper, ink and finishing materials.

·         Quality Control Prepress/File Prep: Checking file integrity, ensuring color accuracy, and conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure a “zero-defect: final product.

Job Requirements:

·         Answering incoming phone calls and emails from current and prospective customers and responding to same

·         Work in partnership with colleagues to ensure successful completion of any print projects

·         Work independently, while maintaining great communication with customers and colleagues across various departments

·         High attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and strong communication skills

·         Be a team player, dealing effectively, respectfully and professionally with co-workers and customers

·         Demonstrate prompt and consistent attendance and adherence to company policies

·         Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40-50 lbs

·         Organize and file samples of competed print projects

Qualifications: Experience, Knowledge, Skill and Ability

·         Knowledge of print production, processes and materials a plus (but not required)

·         Strong customer orientation

·         Graphic design experience a plus (but not required)

·         Good work ethic, energy, initiative and humor

·         Professional attitude and commitment to perpetual learning

·         Strong and effective communication skills (oral and written)

·         Ability to both follow instructions and to work independently

High School Degree required
