Description
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Level I trauma hospital's Operating Room, requiring CST certification or equivalent experience and strong ortho spine and total joint revision experience.
Details
- Operating Room unit (Bell OR) in a Level I trauma hospital
- 12-hour day shifts from 0630-1900
- Weekend contract covering Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Floats to all ORs as needed
- On-call requirement of 3-4 shifts per 8-week period
- Holiday coverage required as needed by client
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CST or 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Level I trauma experience required
- Strong experience in Ortho, especially ortho spine cases and total joint revisions
- NBSTSA CST certification required, or 3 years of experience as a surgical technologist in lieu of certification
- AHA BLS certification required
- New graduates not accepted
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Experience with general, trauma, gyn, urology, plastics, and robotics preferred
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Smoke-free facility
- Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate
- 60-mile radius requirement applies specifically to the Great Bend campus location
