HireCall is Hiring: Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Location: Tulsa Area
Pay: $19.44-$23.08 per hour, based on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM
Shift Premium: 11.5% in addition to the base hourly rate for each hour worked

HireCall is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join the 2nd Shift team for one of our valued clients. This position plays an important role in keeping materials moving efficiently through the operation, supporting production, maintaining accurate inventory, and helping the team meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, or inventory control preferred
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus
• Experience with inventory systems, cycle counting, and hand-held scanners
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or WMS systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed

Responsibilities

• Label, store, and handle materials safely and efficiently, including sheet metal components
• Stage materials for production to keep operations moving without delays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse
• Follow all quality and safety standards to protect employees, materials, and finished products
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counting
• Use hand-held scanners and inventory systems to track materials
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active. Approximately 95% of the normal work shift may require standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while performing production activities, inspecting work and machinery, and following established procedures.

• Must be able to move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds
• Lifting devices should be used whenever possible
• Duties may require lifting, pulling, pushing, and holding materials in place
• Some material handling may need to be performed without mechanical assistance due to limited space or confined areas around machinery

Safety-Sensitive Position

This is a safety-sensitive position. The role involves tasks and duties that may affect the safety and health of the employee or others, including:

• Handling, packaging, processing, storing, disposing of, or transporting hazardous materials
• Operating vehicles, equipment, machinery, or power tools
