Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2270 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH) and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Colorado (UCH).

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience as an RN. - Must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - General medical-surgical, neurosurgical, back surgery, and orthopedic patient population, including ortho trauma and elective hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries. - Ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights. Nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend requirement: per unit needs, 7 weekend shifts per contract. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Floating as required to all med surg units and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
