Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Stepdown

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Duration: 8 Weeks (High possibility of extension or permanent placement)

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Pay Range: $1700.00 - $2100.00 Weekly

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Stepdown unit specializing in intermediate cardiac care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for individuals with cardiac and complex medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring and advanced nursing interventions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide care for patients with acute MI, cardiomyopathy, CHF, cardiac arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms continuously
• Administer medications, blood products, infusions, and specialized treatments
• Manage central lines and advanced infusion therapies
• Care for patients requiring Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and A-PAP support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and disease management
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown, Progressive Care (PCU), or Telemetry experience
• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN preferred
• NIHSS Certification preferred
• Previous Charge Nurse or Preceptor experience
• Experience caring for stroke patients
