Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) in West Burlington, Iowa. This position involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders across various age groups, including neonates, infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires providing high-quality respiratory care, supervising respiratory care students, and performing therapeutic procedures in a hospital or healthcare facility setting.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, with 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. Every other weekend shifts are required. On-call duties are required once every scheduling period. May cover additional shifts as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), with no minimum years of experience required. Must have a valid license to practice in the state of Iowa.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patient populations is preferred.
• Additional Information: Position requires assuming primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including supervising students. Some pediatric experience is preferred. A shift of mandatory low census may be implemented per week depending on patient load, with on-call duties each scheduling period.
