About the Role:

The Kitchen role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of food preparation and service within a culinary environment. The primary goal is to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while supporting the kitchen team in daily tasks. This position involves preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to established recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. The role requires collaboration with chefs, servers, and management to deliver an exceptional dining experience to customers. Ultimately, the Kitchen position contributes to the overall success of the food service operation by upholding consistency, efficiency, and teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in food handling or culinary arts.
• Experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment.
• Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or spoilage.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
