Chicago, IL (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

A large, well-established trade association is looking for a Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business partnership activities across the organization. This is a senior finance leadership role serving as a key advisor to leadership, with ownership of the organization's Zero-Based Budgeting process and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting platform. Responsibilities

• Oversee development and delivery of executive, leadership, and departmental reporting packages
• Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying trends and performance drivers
• Lead continued evolution of Zero-Based Budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across the organization
• Serve as a key leader in the administration and ongoing development of NetSuite Planning & Budgeting
• Provide financial guidance and business partnership support to Group Leaders and cost center owners
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting tools
• Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A staff
• Support Finance Committee, Budget Review Team, and Board of Directors reporting requirements
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT on system enhancements and process automation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, budgeting, or strategic finance
• 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing finance professionals
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership and business stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills with experience developing executive-level reporting
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced credential a plus
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting a plus
• Experience in associations, nonprofits, or similarly complex organizations a plus
