This facility is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) and general radiology procedures, including portable exams, to produce high-quality images as ordered by physicians. The role involves working with patients of all ages, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services. Job Details: Shift: Days, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm (3x12s) Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours Required Qualifications: Completion of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT certification, Virginia license, BLS (AHA), three years of staff radiologic technologist experience, and knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of clinical experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting. Additional Information: The CT technologist performs accurate imaging procedures, manages patient positioning, administers contrast as ordered, reports critical findings, assists with invasive procedures, ensures radiation safety, and maintains detailed documentation. The candidate should be able to operate CT and X-ray equipment with attention to detail, work in a potentially stressful environment, and be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
