Job Description
As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver in Sunnyvale TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location where you will conduct routine patrols support access control activities and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors shoppers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor entrances exits stock areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points observe customer and employee activity and report suspicious behavior policy violations and/or maintenance concerns according to site guidelines.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence assisting with crowd management and following post orders related to retail operations and peak shopping periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
