Lead Substation Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to provide technical leadership for high-voltage substation design projects supporting critical infrastructure clients. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts, develop and review physical and protection/control designs, and ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, and utility standards. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with project managers and IT teams, and support digital design tools and automation. You’ll influence project strategy, drive innovation, and help deliver secure, reliable power systems for government and commercial customers.
