TITLE: General Dentist (Private Practice).

LOCATION: Ocala FL

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5.00 PM Mon-Friday.

DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

Harbour Dental Care is seeking an experienced, business-minded, and team-oriented  Associate Dentist to join its growing dental practice in Florida.

Our support teams handle scheduling, collections, hiring and termination, marketing, compliance, and staff training, allowing dentists to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, ethical judgment, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to creating a positive patient experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation of $1,100-$1200 per day, depending on experience negotiable
• Junior-level dentists may start at $900 per day and progress based on experience and performance
• 10% of office profits
• Three weeks of paid time off
• Potential transition to  practice ownership once office management and operations are established; details to be discussed during the interview process
• Relocation assistance or consideration for an exceptional, high-performing candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients.
• Diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform restorative, endodontic, surgical, prosthodontic, and preventive procedures within the scope of training and licensure.
• Conduct patient consultations and clearly explain treatment options.
• Maintain high standards of clinical quality, ethics, and patient safety.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Support the hygiene team and assist with clinical operations when required.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented practice culture.

Required Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid and unrestricted Florida dental license.
• Experience performing endodontic procedures and other general dentistry procedures.
• Experience operating a CBCT machine.
• No pending disciplinary actions against the dental license.
• Strong commitment to ethical and patient-centered care.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience with the following will be considered an advantage:

• Denticon practice management software.
• Digital dental X-rays.
• Sirona 3D CT imaging.
• CEREC digital crown design.
• Molar endodontics.
• Implant placement.
• Clear aligner orthodontics.
• Comprehensive treatment planning.
• Surgical extractions, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and bone grafting.

Practice Technology and Equipment

Company offers modern technology and high-level dental services, including:

• PPO-only patient base.
• CEREC Primescan and milling technology.
• Sirona SL3D Cone Beam technology.
• Intraoral dental cameras.
• Solea and Waterlase all-tissue lasers at select locations.
• Digital intraoral radiography.
• In-house implant surgical guides using CEREC Guide 2.
• Modern clinical equipment and digital dental workflows.

Practice Environment

• Primarily an adult patient population with minimal pediatric dentistry.
