Our client-an award-winning global investment firm in San Antonio-is expanding its fund operations team.We are looking for a detail-oriented customer service professional with experience working in mutual funds or financial services.

The Mutual Fund Client Services Specialist thrives at the intersection of client relationship management, transaction execution, and financial compliance. This is a role where you can build and grow a great career. Training will be provided. We are seeking candidates who have worked in a fast paced client service role in financial services, banking or mutual funds.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Act as the primary point of contact for complex inquiries regarding fund performance, account balances, and investment policies.
• Transaction Execution: Accurately process account setups, exchanges, redemptions, and daily maintenance requests.
• Complex Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve Net Asset Value (NAV) discrepancies, settlement exceptions, and operational edge cases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Fund Accounting, Custody, and Transfer Agency teams to keep operations seamless.Risk amp; Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to SEC, FINRA, and internal risk controls.

What we are looking for:

• Education: Customer service experience in financial services, preferably in investments/mutual funds or banking.Industry
• Expertise: Understanding of mutual fund structures, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory guidelines.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with financial databases, transaction platforms, and CRM systems.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to de-escalate sensitive client matters.Licensing:Willingness to obtain ). FINRA Series 6 or 7 is a plus.
