This role provides 24-hour on-site call coverage in a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient setting, supporting labor and delivery, gynecologic emergencies, and required surgical care. Opportunity Details Location: Burien, Washington Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting Coverage: 24-hour on-site call coverage Scheduled Coverage: 6-9 months Call Room: Private call room available on-site on L&D Schedule Details Shift Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. (24-hour shifts) Coverage Frequency: Approximately 2 weeks per month (about 3 shifts per week) Week Availability: Site can be flexible on which weeks are covered Clinical Scope Manage labor and delivery patients Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections Assist CNMs/FPOBs Provide gynecological coverage in the emergency room Handle triage and ED consults as required after report from RN Support Level 1 nursery cases Perform gynecological surgeries as required Note: No D&E procedures Practice Environment Hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology coverage with L&D support staff Support staff includes L&D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, and lab tech On-site private call room available for the OB provider Requirements Active Washington medical license DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Preferred Qualifications Experience in inpatient OB/GYN care Experience with ER gynecological coverage Why Physicians Move on This This is a focused OB/GYN locum tenens role built around 24-hour on-site call coverage with established L&D support staff.
