Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in cardiac ultrasound as a registered cardiac sonographer
• Proven ability to perform at least 4,000 echocardiograms
• Certification as RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of echocardiography procedures and protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Graduation from an accredited cardiac ultrasound or echocardiography program
• Experience with IV and UEA contrast administration
• Familiarity with GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX ultrasound systems
• Neonatal echo experience
• Additional certifications or training in cardiovascular imaging or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in health science, radiologic technology, ultrasound, or related fields
• At least 4 years of hands-on echocardiography experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Prior experience working in environments with cath labs, ORs, or EP labs is advantageous

Other Requirements

• Ability to attend a 2-day orientation at TUKHS and further orientation at Olathe facility
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• This position does not require floating or weekend/on-call work

• Willingness to adhere to all safety and certification requirements, including licensure and certification in echocardiography
