Plastic Line Process OperatorOur client in Mentor OH, a growing manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Plastic Line Process Operator to join its 3rd shift team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring plastic production equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining production efficiency, and supporting safe manufacturing operations. Candidates with previous manufacturing, machine operation, plastics, extrusion, or injection molding experience are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor plastic processing and production equipment.Perform machine start-ups, material changes, and basic process adjustments.Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Troubleshoot minor production issues and report equipment concerns to supervision.Maintain production records and complete required documentation.Assist with material handling, packaging, and preparation of finished products.Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies.Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet production goals.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.Experience in plastics, extrusion, injection molding, or similar production environments is a plus.Strong attention to detail and quality standards.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.Preferred SkillsPlastic processing experienceProduction line operationQuality inspectionProcess monitoringEquipment troubleshootingManufacturing safety practicesTeam-oriented mindset
