Stores Attendant-B

ITS is seeking a Warehouse Lead to safely operate heavy equipment and maintain inventory for a top Energy company in the Fort Wayne, IN. area.

This is a full-time, long-term position with benefits offered.

Shift is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Materials Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials for quantity, condition, and accuracy
• Issue materials under proper authorization and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with discrepancy investigations and adjustments
• Identify, sort, and process returned materials, placing usable items back into stock and scrapping non-usable materials
• Maintain organized and efficient storage locations, including bins, racks, and yard layouts
• Lift 70 lbs. safely.

Warehouse & Yard Operations

• Prepare, package, and stage materials for shipment or storage, including completing required shipping documentation
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, wheel loaders, hand trucks, hoists, and overhead cranes
• Assist with the movement of extremely heavy, long, and awkwardly shaped materials
• Support shipping and receiving of hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Equipment Operation (Preferred Experience)

• Case 821 Wheel Loader / All-Terrain Forklift (up to 16,000 lbs)
• JLG Telehandlers (7,000-12,000 lbs capacity)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including laydown yards
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat and inclement weather
• Ability to lift, carry, stand, and move materials for extended periods
• Materials may be extremely heavy, oversized, or awkwardly shaped

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• MUST pass a background and drug screen.
• 1 year of experience in forklift operations, inventory control, warehousing, and material handling.
• Computer skills with Excel, warehouse software, and typing.
• Lift 70 lbs.
