Warehouse AssociateBlack Bear Talent is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client's distribution and fulfillment team in Roanoke, Virginia. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, processed, stored, and shipped to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, safety conscious, and committed to delivering high quality work in a fast paced warehouse environment.Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pmKey ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.Accurately label, sort, and organize inventory within the warehouse.Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently following all company procedures.Maintain clean and organized work areas.Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.Follow shipping documentation and order fulfillment procedures.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory, shipments, and order status.Adhere to all safety policies and warehouse best practices.QualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and problem solving skills.Required SkillsMust have excellent attendance and a proven, stable work history. Reliability and dependability are essential for success in this role.Must possess impeccable attention to detail with the ability to accurately process orders, verify inventory, and maintain quality standards with minimal errors.
