This role is broadly divided into 2 parts: approximately 25% functional management role and approximately 75% direct charge program role.Responsibilities Include the Following:Lead a section of systems engineers (15-20 personnel)Instruct, mentor and champion agile concepts and processesBe responsible for hiring, development, training, and retention of section talent. Hiring will include university and experienced hiring. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and at least 9 years of combined professional / military technical and management experience, or a Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and at least 7 years of combined professional / military technical and management experience.Must have experience in at least one of the following areas: Operations Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Mission Integration or Model Based Systems EngineeringMust have experience leading an engineering team or projectMust have experience working with AGILE/SCRUM Master, MBSE with CAMEO, DODAF 2.0Must have experience working with AFSIM Modeling and SIMMust have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Must have experience working in a SAP/SAR environment.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Functional Management ExperienceEngineering Management ExperienceAgile project management (manage & prioritize workflow)Ability and desire to provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to direct reportsActive US Government Top Secret clearance with SSBI, or Active DoD Top Secret with SCI within 4 years of last investigationProgram access to all major NGAS programs.Primary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
