Field Clinical Specialist, Maryland-- Transcatheter Heart Valve

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to provide clinical training and support for transcatheter heart valve procedures within an assigned territory. The role involves working independently with hospital teams, conducting device preparation, and developing clinical expertise among cardiologists and staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent valve crimping, case management, and pre/post-case planning for THV procedures
• Train physicians and support staff on transcatheter heart valve technology to reach expert proficiency
• Implement sales and educational materials with clinicians; validate software and hardware updates
• Develop clinical champions among current and potential customers to advocate for THV products
• Partner with Territory Managers and sales organization to plan physician trainings and grow therapy awareness programs

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent two years of clinical life sciences education, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum five years experience in sterile cath lab or operating room environment
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Medical technician or nurse-level training strongly preferred
• Clinical background in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology preferred
• Demonstrated self-motivation, interpersonal skills, and ability to work autonomously
• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 60-70% of the time

Compensation: $112,000 - $134,000 base (Maryland)
