Outpatient Physical Therapist

This position requires five 8-hour days per week.

This is a 3-month contract position starting on November 13th.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. They are responsible for directing discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients and ensuring the design of effective treatment programs that enable a return to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Participate in student training programs, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Create individualized professional development plans and pursue ongoing education.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and implement organizational performance improvement methodologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
