Job Details Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Atlanta, Georgia Requirements Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS Certifications At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting Additional qualifications may be determined by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities The Oncology RN will provide care to critically and chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement advanced symptom management methods, monitor patient progress, and foster a supportive environment. Nurses may also specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer. Provide care to cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing primarily on the acute phase. Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal stages in managing disease and treatment, including chemotherapy administration. Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
