Route Sales/Delivery Driver

Summary Reliant Holdings seeks a route sales delivery driver to serve current customers and expand business in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. The role involves transporting dry ice, gel packs, and insulated containers for frozen needs, driving during the day, and returning home each night. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive truck to deliver CO2 to customers’ homes or places of business. Install CO2 and perform maintenance. Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipt. Record sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record. Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services. Listen to and resolve service complaints; collect or pick up empty containers. Load truck and clean inside of truck. Schedule routine maintenance on truck. Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Knowledge of order processing systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Driver’s License – CDL Class B Clear driving record and background. Physical Demands The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
