Housekeeper– Environmental Services Location: Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, WV Employment Type: Employee Status: Full Time Regular 1.0 Job Summary With a patient‑centered culture, the Housekeeper will provide a positive experience to patients, customers, and our community through cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital to provide a safe, aseptic and attractive environment. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience and Physical Requirements Heavy work: exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly. Previous housekeeping or custodian experience preferred. Job Specific Responsibilities Possesses sufficient job skills and knowledge to perform the job in a competent manner. Demonstrates skills and knowledge in day‑to‑day situations. Adheres to and follows the policies and procedures set forth by the hospital and the EVS department. Has a track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail and reflects well on the organization. Is personally committed to high quality work and encourages others to have similar standards. Produces an amount of work that meets or exceeds job expectations. Ensures that quality does not suffer as the quantity of work increases. Works effectively with peers and carries own share of team workload.
