Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Days

Weekend: Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week

Contract: 3 months with possible extensions

Compensation

• Local: $59/hr on W2
• Travel: $2,361/week travel package
• Travel Requirement: Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required for Travel positions

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CSICU / Coronary Care team. The Clinical Nurse will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and provide patient education and care coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients and promptly recognize and escalate changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Perform charge nurse responsibilities when assigned.
• Maintain appropriate supplies and resources for patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, empathy, and effective communication.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of post-open-heart and cardiac care/CSICU experience
• ICU experience required
• Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• BSN preferred
