Job Summary Provide high‑level, specialized administrative services within a campus unit, usually in direct support of unit management. The position involves organizing office services, coordinating calendars, meetings and events, budget administration, procurement, and report preparation. It may also provide work coordination, supervision, and training to lower‑level administrative personnel. Responsibilities Prepare and manage the department budget and generate associated reports. Coordinate payroll and HR related functions (timekeeping, PSFs, paperwork processing, etc.). Coordinate unit purchasing processes; track and manage purchasing activities. Originate and process correspondence, reports and other documentation. Compile, organize and analyze data for use in reports; develop and maintain databases and records‑management systems. Plan meetings and other events, including scheduling, reservations, and arrangements. Make travel arrangements for unit staff and management as directed. Review and resolve complex administrative questions and issues; recommend new or revised unit administrative procedures. Provide training and guidance to administrative staff members as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma. Other Required Qualifications License in the State of Georgia as a registered dental hygienist (RDH); CPR certification. Position requires standing 4‑8 hours per day and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Required Experience Six to eight years of job‑related experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This role requires advanced skills in general office administration, including budget administration, unit‑level procurement processing, document production and management, records management, event management, problem solving, and office organization.
