Seattle Urgent Care Medical Assistant - Certified AM 0.7 FTE

Overview This position includes a sign on bonus for eligible new hires joining Seattle Children’s. The primary work location is (location), but depending on business need the incumbent may be required to work at any Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations. In an Urgent Care setting, perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow. This role also includes clerical tasks such as chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. Responsibilities Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests in an Urgent Care setting. Complete associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitor clinic flow. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Required Credentials: Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date; Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS). Preferred: Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program; Medical Assistant or medical office experience; Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or medical screening and immunization; Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Range: $26.28 - $38.85 per hour. Salary Information: This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
