Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Virginia Beach, VA Dream Builders ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with a 5-year-old client in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in structured settings and values consistency and collaboration. Position Details Location: Virginia Beach, VA Client Age: 5 years old Setting: Daycare and home (potential transition fully to daycare) Hours: 18 hours per week Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:30–10:30 AM (Daycare sessions) Wednesday–Friday: 2:30–4:30 PM (Currently home-based; may transition to daycare) Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions Collect accurate and timely data Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and daycare staff Maintain ethical and professional standards Qualifications Active RBT certification (required) Experience working with young children preferred Ability to work in daycare and home settings Reliable transportation Strong communication skills and openness to feedback Why Join Dream Builders ABA Supportive supervision and ongoing training Consistent schedule with a young client Collaborative, professional environment Competitive pay based on experience If you are an RBT looking for a consistent schedule and meaningful work with a young learner, we would love to hear from you.
