As a member of this team, you will play a role in the entire design process including, but not limited to, preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, site inspection, problem resolution, and drawing and specification production. We are looking for a BIM Technician with Revit software experience to support our NYC Water team in the delivery of water, wastewater, conveyance, and stormwater projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing 3D models using appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with engineers. Performing standard work methods are followed for preparing engineering drawings under general supervision. You’ll interface with internal and external contacts and will coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control. Role involves working in-person at project sites in New York City and Westchester County.

Here's what you'll need

• Higher Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent 
• Min 2 years of experience using Revit 
• Min 2 years of relevant experience on Civel 3D
• Preferably possess a recognized certificate, diploma or above preferably in BIM, Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering, Surveying or equivalent 
• Solid experience in 3D modelling software application (Civil 3D and Revit), BIM 360 / Construction Cloud, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD. Civil 3D experience has preference. 
• Civil 3D modelling on site formation, road alignment, Piping works, drainage 
• Provide support to BIM manager, BIM coordinator and designer in BIM implementation on projects. 
• Familiar with CIC and CEDD BIM modelling standard 
• Good command of spoken and written English

70,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

115,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $115,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
