This position will report directly to the Site Reliability Manager at our DeLisle, MS location.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Provide engineering support for electrical, controls and power distribution system to the plant operating.Provide technical expertise in low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems including motor control centers, switchgear, protection relays, sizing power cables, etc.Provide engineering support for small and large cost and capital projects.Provide technical expertise to communicate/work with other internal and external engineers.Provide technical guidance and review for electrical procedures, programs and safe work practices.Provide engineering support and expertise for Process Safety Management (PSM) through participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).Troubleshoot electrical, controls and instrument problems as needed for the operating areas.Lead RCFAs pertaining to electrical and controls systems.Provide electrical and instrumentation engineering assistance to maintenance and operations including troubleshooting, evaluation of equipment failures, and technical recommendations for repairs and upgrades, and ownership of improvements.Develop knowledge in area specific equipment to become subject matter experts for the review and preparation of maintenance inspection & work procedures and skills development/training.Initiate management of change documents to improve the safety, quality, environmental impact or cost of the production area.Prepare and audit scopes of work, estimates, schedules, and equipment specifications.Review preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimum process and frequency of performance.Evaluate vendor proposals and designs and exercise effective judgment around functionality, cost, and timing.The following is required for this role:BS degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 1 year of similar work experience (will include related internship/co-op experience)Strong values on safety awareness and executionDemonstrated ability to:Organize self and others to obtain cooperation from people to find appropriate work solutions.Work independently and as part of a teamUse initiative to make decisions within delegated guidelines.Organize work flows.Maintain confidentiality.Demonstrated work experience in plant electrical, PLC and instrument system design, maintenance, and operation.Motors, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, soft-starters, etc.Flow, pressure, temperature, level. pH, density, conductivity, etc.PLCs (preferably Rockwell)Prior experience working with field personnel in maintenance and troubleshooting activitiesExcellent organizational competencies including strong oral and written communication skillsProven ability to manage short duration deadlines, emergency situations and multiple priorities.The following is preferred for this role:SAP Knowledge preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards (NEC, ISA, etc.)Demonstrated knowledge of PLC systems (Rockwell preferred)Strong analytical and communication skillsExperience in manufacturing and/or miningWorking knowledge of industry codes and best practices/programs in engineered solutionsBenefits:Competitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Packages401(k) MatchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramTuition ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DayWe're a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
