Hotel Maintenance Worker

Location: Irmo, South Carolina
Full-Time | $15/hour

The right candidate will have experience with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep in a hotel, apartment, or commercial environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Hotel Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the property, completing repairs, and responding to maintenance needs to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests.

This role requires someone who is dependable, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform general hotel maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing repairs
• Assist with electrical repairs and maintenance
• Identify and repair leaks, including bathroom and plumbing issues
• Perform routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
• Complete pool checks and report any maintenance concerns
• Repair and maintain fixtures, equipment, and common areas
• Assist with room maintenance and guest-related repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate issues and repairs with management

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous maintenance, handyman, hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Professional communication skills
• Comfortable working with tools and performing hands-on repairs

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Previous maintenance experience required
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
