About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry (Tele) – Nights (Float Pool)

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered | 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float between multiple facilities and departments as assigned within the float pool

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple departments and facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool environment
