We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing urgent care locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina. This position offers a fast-paced outpatient environment caring for both adult and pediatric patients.

Practice Details

• Manage urgent care patients independently
• Treat both adults and children (6 months and older)
• Perform common urgent care procedures
• Provide evaluation and treatment for acute illnesses and injuries
• Average daily practice volume of approximately 45 patients

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active North Carolina license
• Active North Carolina DEA
• Minimum 1 year of post-training experience
• Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Comfortable working independently in a busy urgent care setting
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• No call required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
• Mandatory Epic training and onboarding prior to first shift
• Ongoing coverage need with potential for long-term assignment
