About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Finance & Accounting to provide strategic financial leadership and manage all financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a professional with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, a CPA designation, and at least 15 years' of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 10 years' in leadership or management positions. Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls is essential, as is a strong background in supporting government contractors and familiarity with DoD regulations, DCAA audits, and government compliance requirements. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance & Accounting at the company include leading and overseeing all finance and accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, managing the budgeting and forecasting process, and maintaining strong internal control frameworks. The role also involves overseeing treasury operations, banking relationships, and cash flow management, as well as partnering with external auditors and financial institutions during compliance reviews. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, particularly Deltek Costpoint or similar, and a proven track record in managing high-performing finance teams. Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills are required, along with excellent communication abilities to present financial information to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
