Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse FL, Port Charlotte 07/07/2026 Contract Active Job Description Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Rapid Response Cath Lab Technician to join our team for a 6-week assignment. This role requires a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to respond effectively in critical situations within the cardiac catheterization lab. Key Responsibilities Perform emergency and scheduled procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Act as a primary support to the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Prepare and maintain the cath lab equipment and supplies. Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters during procedures. Respond to rapid response calls and assist in critical care situations within the lab. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Schedule / Shift 40 hours guaranteed per week Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On-call duties required Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile procedures. Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Certifications BLS certification required ACLS certification required ARRT or RCIS certification required Experience Minimum of [Insert Standard Years of Experience Here, e.g., 2] years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
