Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Experience evaluating and treating adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient or home health rehabilitation setting preferred. Ability to perform and interpret diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests, and develop measurable treatment goals. Documentation skills for objective patient care notes, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Experience supervising or providing direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, or students preferred.

Facility Type: Hospital. Position: Physical Therapist, Rehabilitation. Job Type: Travel contract, 13 week duration. Standard Hours Per Week: 40. Responsibilities include evaluating new patients, establishing measurable treatment goals, administering treatment modalities, re-evaluating progress, and maintaining documentation and quality standards.
