Responsibilities

• Must-Have: Air compressor service experience

• Electrical & Controls Diagnostics: Reading electrical schematics to troubleshoot 3-phase high-voltage motors, motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), pressure switches, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

• Fluid & Mechanical Systems Repair: Servicing rotary screw compressors, reciprocating pumps, blowers, and vacuum systems—including changing oil, replacing separators/filters, adjusting belts, and repairing valves or seals.

• Air Treatment & Auxiliary Care: Servicing refrigerated and desiccant air dryers, condensate drains, air receivers, and oil/water separators to ensure air purity.

• System Installation & Piping: Setting up new compressor packages, running air lines, and balancing system pressure for optimal efficiency.

• Field Customer Service: Driving to client facilities in a company service vehicle, diagnosing emergency outages on-site, and advising maintenance managers on preventative solutions.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
