Registered Nurse - Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. The position involves caring for patients with ages ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Priority admission is given to patients requiring medical cardiac care and those recovering from cardiac interventions. Interventions may include cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implants. The unit also admits hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include managing telemetry monitoring and responding to patient needs effectively. Necessary skills include administering medications, managing IVs, and interpreting dysrhythmias. The nursing staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Patient ratios during the day are maintained at 1:5 to ensure focused care. The unit consists of 36 private rooms, catering to a diverse patient population with varying diagnoses. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role in a dynamic healthcare setting.
