PRN Dietitian - TJUH - Philadelphia, PA

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a PRN Consulting Dietitian at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH) in Philadelphia, PA. Schedule: Flexible. Weeday and/or Weekend Coverage Needed. Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center (TJUH) is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 926 licensed beds. They are ranked #3 Best Hospital in the state of Pennsylvania by U.S. News and World Report.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required
• 2 years or more clinical practice experience preferred
• Licensed Dietitian status in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within 3 months of hire
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition
