Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care to join our dynamic team. The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing critical services to the community.Shift Information12-hour day shifts36 hours per weekEvery other weekend and holidays required as neededJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their conditions.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans.Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple patients with diverse needs.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Educate patients and families about health conditions and care processes.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.At least 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Must possess a valid Vermont RN license or a Compact License.Certification requirements include:Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart AssociationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart AssociationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart AssociationTraveler must have reliable transportation.Permanent address must be included in the application profile.All requests for time off must be noted in the application profile.
