TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Farmington, New Mexico, 87401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum License: RN Certifications: BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have: Med surg experience preferred Description: A 198-bed, level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites. Provides healthcare services in the region. Offers medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Includes a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Accredited for PCI, mammography, and laboratory services. Recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. Awarded the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare. Located in a beautiful valley with features such as three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks. Offers outdoor attractions including hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. Requires ability to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month. Patient ratios are 1:5 and 1:6. Equipment includes VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps. Utilizes an electronic health record system. Supervision provided by a manager and assistant manager. Patient population includes adults 18 years and older. Common diagnoses include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure. Preferred skills include charge nurse experience and oncology skills. Required education includes an ADN. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
