The shift lead role provides a training ground for restaurant management. Support the AGM & GM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner. Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help from others when appropriate; and be willing to provide help and guidance to others.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring consistent customer satisfaction
• Executing the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine and ensuring responsibilities under People, Customers and Service are completed
• Ensuring that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s)
• Ensuring that all employees present a neat clean appearance and wear company uniform
• Personally demonstrating the Customer needs are the highest priority
• Ensuring food safety, quality and accuracy of orders
• Resolving customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations
• Greeting customers with a smile, being polite and pleasant when speaking with customers
• Working with urgency
• Working with management and fellow employees
• Cooperation with peers working with fellow employees as part of a team, helping others when they need a hand
• Demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers
• Understanding posted work schedule and reporting to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks. Providing appropriate notice when unable to be at work
• Understanding and using approved time keeping system, including accurately recording all hours worked
• Taking action without being told, going beyond what is simply required and maintaining a high activity level
• Providing regular feedback to the RGM on the performance of Team Members
• Providing ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback to Team Members
• Actively participating in the training of Team Members
• Handling conflicts constructively and working with RGM to achieve resolution
