Social Worker (MSW)

Position Overview Barnes‑Jewish West County Hospital is hiring a Social Worker (MSW) for the day shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm). The role is under physician direction, delivering direct clinical services to patients and families in inpatient and outpatient settings and collaborating with the healthcare team and community agencies. Responsibilities Provides direct clinical services to patients and families. Plans and implements social work services on the assigned unit in collaboration with the healthcare team. Collaborates with community human service agencies to meet the needs of patients, families, and the hospital. Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) – required. Illinois state social work license, or the ability to take and pass the Illinois state licensing exam within 90 days of employment. Preferred Qualifications Prefer candidates with 2–5 years of experience.
