Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Join Our Growing Team!

Job Summary:

Mountain View Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center, a beautiful skilled nursing facility located in Shamokin, PA, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our wonderful family. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, enhancing their quality of life, and improving their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident's needs
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and undressing
• Provide incontinence care, toileting, and bowel/bladder training (as needed)
• Serve and collect food trays, and assist with feeding residents (as needed)
• Transport residents, assist with walking, and perform restorative nursing programs (as directed)
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment, including resident rooms and work areas
• Provide post-mortem care and maintain universal precautions (as needed)

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant License
• Graduate from a state-approved C.N.A. training program
• Prior sub-acute and/or long-term care experience a plus, but not required
• Basic addition and subtraction skills

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to walk
• Frequently required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk and/or hear
• Occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs
