Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Seasoned Loan Officer located in Sugar Grove, IL while working remotely. The Loan Officer will be responsible for originating loans, consulting with clients to determine financing needs, and providing clear guidance throughout the loan application process. Responsibilities include assisting clients in selecting appropriate loan products, collaborating with underwriters to evaluate risk, and ensuring all regulatory requirements and documentation standards are met. The role also involves maintaining excellent customer service to build lasting client relationships. Qualifications Strong skills in Loan Origination and Underwriting, with a solid understanding of loan evaluation and approval processes. Experience in customer-focused roles such as Customer Service and client relationship management. Comprehensive knowledge of financial principles and practices, ideally with a background in Loan Officer and Finance roles. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical abilities. Active NMLS license in Illinois or Indiana, or Florida or the ability to obtain one. Proven experience in the mortgage or financial industry is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with compliance standards and lending regulations.
