Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts with a 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM start | Expected 2 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment handling 15–20 cases per day, including laparoscopic, orthopedic, robotic, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, neurosurgery/spine, podiatry, pedi dental, and GI procedures
• Support endoscopy and pain clinic suites as needed; float coverage limited to Endo or Pain Clinic only
• Participate in weeknight call on a rare, fill-in basis and an expected weekend call rotation of approximately one day every 4–5 weeks (24-hour call, Saturday or Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 AM)
• Adhere to call response times: 20 minutes for C-section call , 30 minutes for all other cases
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in a holiday call rotation, typically one holiday per contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Nebraska
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Orthopedic and robotic surgery experience required
• Must not reside in North Platte, NE to be eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience as an RN is a strong bonus
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Experience in endoscopy or pain clinic settings
