Endpoint Engineering Manager Join the Cooley Technology team as we seek an experienced Endpoint Engineering Manager to lead our desktop and endpoint strategy. Position Summary: As the Endpoint Engineering Manager, you will oversee the engineering and delivery of secure endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile, VDI) across physical and virtual environments. Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Technology - Office Tech Operations and Endpoint Engineering, you will manage desktop images, application deployments, compliance, and team performance to drive technology adoption. Key Responsibilities Strategic Management Create and execute a comprehensive endpoint roadmap focusing on modern management (Intune, Autopilot, JAMF, etc.), patching, and compliance with security standards. Manage product and service delivery within budget constraints and establish policies and procedures for effective technology use. Provide ongoing guidance and training for system users and integrate new tools/technologies into the firm's infrastructure. Collaborate with the Technology Project Management Office for project prioritization and planning, ensuring timely completion of initiatives. Establish KPIs to track metrics like deployment success rates and incident reduction, and report findings to leadership. Prepare proposals for system enhancements and participate in continuous service improvement. Technical Management Oversee design, testing, and deployment of OS images and application packages across various platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android). Manage release cycles, software licensing audits, and third-level escalations, ensuring integration with key applications like M365. Support the development of documentation and training materials for end-users. Conduct audits of desktop environments for licensing compliance. Customer Service Identify training needs and provide timely resolutions to support requests within established SLAs. Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss concerns and develop effective strategies for customer communication. Administrative Management Supervise and mentor direct reports, ensuring compliance with policies and managing staffing coverage. Collaborate with HR on hiring, performance appraisals, and employee lifecycle events. Skills and Experience Required 5+ years of experience in endpoint management and support across multiple desktop operating systems. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBScript and familiar with application deployment tools like Microsoft SCCM and MS Intune. Knowledge of Windows 365, Nerdio, and the Microsoft M365 stack is essential. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree and prior law firm experience. Experience in supervisory roles is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Cooley offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $145,000 - $210,000, along with excellent benefits and a supportive work environment.
