About Kazba Cafe We are The Kazba a new Cafe in Oldsmar/Westchase area. We are inclusive, fun, innovative and our goal is to provide a great experience in a Moroccan atmosphere with a choice from a varied menu of Moroccan fusion food items and specialty coffee drinks and refreshers. Responsibilities The barista/crew member prepares and/or directs the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Ensures appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud. Greet customers as they enter and promote positive relations with guests. Maintain coffee bar and service/display area in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner; returning ingredients to storage after use to ensure freshness. Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (washing hands when using restroom, etc.). Introduce customers to the menu and answer their questions. Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios etc). Prepare beverages following recipes. Serve beverages and prepared food, like breakfast items, pastries, muffins etc. Receive and process payments. Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates. Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs. Comply with health and safety regulations. Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items. Perform other duties as assigned. The barista/crew member makes $11/hr plus tips with a minimum of $12/hr and can take home up to $14/hr. Minimum age is 18.
