Job Description: At Kumori servers take orders, serves food and beverages to customers in our establishments. Greet customers, present menus, and explain daily specials. Also responsible for ensuring that customers have a satisfying dining experience. Provide fast, efficient, and courteous service. Emphasize personal, attentive treatment at a more leisurely pace. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service Familiarize customers with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested Collects payments by accepting cash, check, and charge payments from customers Check ID to ensure minimum age requirement is met Must be over 21 to serve alcoholic beverages Notify kitchen personnel of food orders, shortages, or special orders Serves appetizers, salads, cold dishes and beverages Recognize customer intoxication in accordance with Kumori policy Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining/work areas neat and pleasant Other duties assigned. Qualifications: Must have great customer service skills and demonstrate oral or written communication skills Computer Skills Must be at least 18 years of age Physical Requirements: Lift up to 10 lbs.
